Algarve “Best Beach Destination in Europe” - World Travel Awards - 2020

The Algarve was for the 6th consecutive time, considered the "best beach destination in Europe" in the edition of the World Travel Awards, which took place on November 1st, 2020.

The Algarve reinforces its position of preference, among those who are considered the greatest “experts” of the world tourist industry. But the Oscars didn't stop there. In this same edition:

Portugal, again considered the best tourist destination in Europe, for the 4th consecutive year.

Lisbon, was elected the “Best European cruise destination”

Porto was considered the “Best European City Break destination”

Arouca, received the award “Best tourist attraction in Adventure”

In total, Portugal received more than 20 awards, thus consolidating the international confidence and preference in the national tourist offer.
